With an emphasis on increasing its presence in Tier II and Tier III cities throughout the nation, Maruti Suzuki India intends to grow its Nexa sales network to over 650 locations in the current fiscal year.

The biggest automaker in the nation, which opened its 500th Nexa store in Bengaluru on Friday, plans to open 150 more locations nationwide, with about 100 of those locations expected to be in smaller cities.

We have a highly ambitious plan in place to grow the Nexa sales network. In a conversation with PTI, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales) Partho Banerjee stated, “We are now planning to move to more of the Tier two and Tier three cities.”

Via the Nexa channel, MSI offers Ignis, Baleno, Fronx, Ciaz, Jimny, XL6, Grand Vitara, and Invicto for sale. Via its Arena stores, more models such the Brezza, Dzire, Swift, and Ertiga are sold.

According to Banerjee, MSI has also developed a new idea called Nexa Studio, a smaller outlet model intended to satisfy clients.With the opening of its 500th Nexa location, MSI now serves 2,577 towns and cities with 3,925 locations (Arena, Nexa, and Commercial).
