The safety of one of Maruti Suzuki’s most well-known vehicles has been the subject of upsetting news for the top automobile maker in India. New safety ratings have been revealed by Euro NCAP, and the Maruti Swift, the company’s best-seller, has been given a 3-star rating, which is not thought to be very good.

May Saw the Launch of Swift, New Ratings Released by Euro NCAP

Launched in May, the all-new 4th generation Maruti Swift is equipped with a three-point seat belt, hill hold assist, and six airbags as standard. The car has a poor safety rating even with these upgrades. The updated Swift is priced at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and featured in the Tokyo Expo as well. For many years, it has continuously been among the top five cars sold in India.
