Scheduled for July 23, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the 2024-25 Budget to the Lok Sabha. This budget marks the first comprehensive economic outline of the Modi 3.0 administration, setting the stage for India’s ambition to become a developed nation by 2047.

In her recent address to a joint session of Parliament, President Droupadi Murmu highlighted the government’s commitment to introducing groundbreaking reforms aimed at accelerating progress. She emphasized that the forthcoming Budget would reflect the government’s visionary policies and forward-thinking approach.

The Indian economy achieved an impressive growth rate of 8.2% in 2023-24. Earlier this year, in February, Sitharaman presented an interim budget for 2024-25, considering the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
