Six of the top ten valued companies suffer a mcap drop of Rs 68,417 crore; the biggest laggards are Airtel, LIC, and ITC

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and State Bank of India emerged as the winners, while Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Infosys, ITC, and Hindustan Unilever were the laggards.

Six of the 10 most valuable firms saw a decline in their combined market capitalization of Rs 68,417.14 crore during the course of the previous week, with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries suffering the most.Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and State Bank of India emerged as the winners, while Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Infosys, ITC, and Hindustan Unilever were the laggards.

The previous week, the BSE benchmark increased by 0.20 percent, or 147.99 points.

Due to Maharashtra Day, the Indian stock market was closed on Wednesday.

Bharti Airtel

Bharti Airtel’s market capitalization (mcap) decreased to Rs 7,23,770.70 crore from Rs 27,635.65 crore.
Reliance Industries’ valuation dropped to Rs 19,40,738.40 crore from Rs 23,341.56 crore.

Hindustan Unilever’s valuation dropped by Rs 1,409.76 crore to Rs 5,20,551.94 crore, while TC’s fell by Rs 4,619.35 crore to Rs 5,44,645.97 crore.

Nonetheless, State Bank of India’s market capitalization increased by Rs 26,907.71 crore to Rs 7,42,126.11 crore.

By adding Rs 24,651.55 crore, ICICI Bank raised the company’s valuation to Rs 8,02,401.77 crore.

TCS

TCS’s market capitalization increased by Rs 9,587.93 crore to Rs 13,89,110.43 crore, while HDFC Bank’s increased by Rs 11,53,704.84 crore to Rs 6,761.25 crore.

Out of the top ten companies, Reliance Industries continued to be the most valuable. TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Bharti Airtel, LIC, Infosys, ITC, and Hindustan Unilever were the next companies in line.
